Welcome to the Nuneaton Local History Group
A website portal of information / pictures of Nuneaton Local History
This website is dedicated to the memory of our Patron "Beryl Kerby"
Welcome to the web site of the Nuneaton Local History Group. We hope you enjoy your visit and will return regularly to look at our updates and features on all things to do with Old Nuneaton. If you have any memories of the area to share please contact us and we will include them on the site. We meet during the winter for various talks, slide shows and events, and during the summer we try to get out and about and explore the district around the town and this part of North Warwickshire.
We also publish a regular newsletter which enables us to explore in some depth our local history and this is published quarterly for a modest subscription of £6 to cover printing and postage.
One thing is certain we are very informal and everyone is welcome to join us if your interests are local to our area.
An additional benefit is that you can visit us once a month at Nuneaton Library if you would like help with your own researches. We offer a one to one service here on a Sunday each month. 11am-1pm. (Please book by emailing: Peter Lee from the "Contact Us" page of this website)
Thank you for your interest, and we look forward to hearing from you with any comments and additions you would like to see on the web site. In the meantime enjoy what you find and we hope we can reprise something of the flavour of the most central town in England.
