Web Link Nuneaton & North Warwickshire Family History Society

Family History is one of the most pleasurable and fastest growing leisure activities today. It is very interesting but can be a daunting task for the beginner.

The NNWFHS started life as the Nuneaton Family History Group. Because of thier rapidly increasing membership and the family interests that many of their members have in North Warwickshire they expanded their area and changed their name to reflect this in April 1998. In 2009 they reviewed their working area again and included a few new parishes.

They hold monthly meetings and weekly family history help desks at Chilvers Coton Heritage Centre and monthly family history help desks at Atherstone and Kingsbury libraries.

They welcome all levels of interest. If you are starting out, they can set you on the right path and show you how and where to access the records you need. If you are stuck, they can show you where to go next. They can also help you to find other people who share your surname interests.

This website/society contains lots of interesting & useful information and lots of people you can ask advice.
